  Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I apply?
A. To apply for a position at Travelocity, simply access the Sabre Holdings search tool and do a Keyword search for Travelocity.

Q. Should I apply separately for each job that interests me, or only once?
A. You should apply separately to each position that interests you.

Q. Should I send samples of my work (writing, code, designs, etc.) with my resume?
A. Please do not include samples with your initial profile application. However, if you have public copies of your work available for viewing online, please include the link with your resume. If you're selected for an interview, we may request work samples then.

Q. I wanted to apply for a position that I saw here, but now it's not listed. Can I still apply?
A. No, unfortunately if a position is no longer listed on our site, it is not available for application.

Q. How long does it take you to decide whether I'll get an interview?
A. Our process is simple. We search the submitted resumes and then contact the qualified people to schedule interviews. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of resumes we receive, we can only make personal contact with people who meet our qualifications. However, we do keep resumes on file for six months.

Q. What is your interview process?
A. For most positions, we usually begin the process with a phone interview with a recruiter. In addition, you may have a phone interview with the team hiring manager. If there's interest on both sides, we invite people in for an on-site interview, typically with the hiring manager and several teammates. The interview process may vary by position and location.

Q. How should I dress for the interview?
A. Travelocity has a casual work environment. Dress nicely but comfortably. Of course it's always a good idea to look sharp for an interview!

Q. Will you help me with relocation?
A. Typically, we initially search locally. However, in those rare instances when the need arises, we will expand our search to include out-of-town candidates. When we interview out-of-town candidates, we may offer a relocation package. This happens on a case-by-case basis, though, so be sure to discuss this in your interview.

Q. Will you sponsor me for a work permit?
A. Unfortunately, we're only able to consider candidates who are eligible to work in the United States for any employer. We do not currently sponsor visas or visa transfers.

Q.I work for an employment agency. How can I present applicants to you?
A. If you work for an employment agency, temporary staffing firm, or consulting business, please do not submit resumes through the Travelocity jobs site. Travelocity does not accept resumes from headhunters or suppliers who have not signed a formal fee agreement with Chimes, our centralized vendor-management office. Any resume received from an unapproved supplier will be considered unsolicited, and Travelocity will not be obligated to pay a referral fee.

Q. I am a current employee of Sabre Holdings. How do I apply for a position within Travelocity?
A. Internal candidates may apply via our internal website, look for job postings under Tools.

Q. Wait! I don't want to ask about jobs. I have a question about a trip I purchased on Travelocity. What do I do?
A. At the top of most Travelocity pages is a help link. Click on it and you will find answers to our most frequently asked questions, as well as contact information for our world-class customer support.
